Applicants must have either a terminal degree in Information Technology Management or Management Information Systems or have a minimum of 18 hours of approved graduate course work in relevant fields of Business. All degrees must come from accredited institutions. Strong consideration will be afforded to candidates who exhibit a demonstrated record of professional experience and success in undergraduate teaching. For positions that may include online teaching, candidates are expected to demonstrate their ability to successfully structure and implement a distance-education based course.

Job Description

The Department of Accounting & Finance has need for part-time or adjunct faculty to teach a course in the Management Information Systems. We invite applications to be submitted for potential openings.

These positions are especially suited for potential faculty who possess terminal degrees in either Information Technology Management or Management Information Systems or have a minimum of 18 hours of approved graduate course work in relevant fields of Business. Excellence in teaching and learning conducted within a rigorous and stimulating environment is an important core value of the University of North Carolina at Pembroke. The Accounting & Finance Department has a strong commitment to undergraduate teaching and part-time faculty are expected to exhibit and maintain campus and department standards.

Work Location: Main campus of the University of North Carolina at Pembroke
