Applicants must have a Ph.D in Geology or a Master’s Degree in Geology or a related field that includes a minimum of 18 hours of graduate work in Geology. All degrees must come from accredited institutions. Strong consideration will be afforded to candidates who exhibit a demonstrated record of professional experience and success in undergraduate teaching.

The Department of Geology & Geography has need for part-time or adjunct faculty to teach courses in the following subject area: Earth Science Summer 2016 and Academic Year 2016/2017.

Job Description

We invite applications to be submitted for potential openings.
These positions are especially suited for potential faculty who possess terminal degrees in Geology or have a minimum of 18 hours of approved graduate course work in relevant fields of Geology.

Work Location: Main campus of the University of North Carolina at Pembroke.

Management Preference

Previous experience teaching in higher ed is preferred.
