Job Description

The Department of English, Theatre, and Foreign Languages of the University of North Carolina at Pembroke seek applications for a part-time (adjunct) lecturer position in Dance and Stage Movement beginning August, 2017.

The successful applicant will be responsible for developing courses in beginning and intermediate dance, including ballet, modern, jazz and Broadway dance styles, and stage movement for the actor. The position will also have opportunities to choreograph and/or direct one production during the academic year.

Teaching responsibilities include courses in dance and stage movement for the actor. Normal teaching load is six to nine hours each semester (depending on need) with one three hour course release for choreography and/or directing assignments, if needed.

Work Location: Main campus of the University of North Carolina at Pembroke.
