Applicants to teach core and specialty area courses must have a Ph.D. in Educational Leadership or a related degree with a clear school administration professional identity and licensure. For positions that may include online teaching, candidates are expected to demonstrate an ability to successfully structure and implement distance-education based courses and blended learning hybrid courses.

Job Description

The Department of Educational Leadership and Counseling has need for part-time or adjunct faculty to teach courses in the Master of School Administration Program.
We invite applications to be submitted for potential openings.

These positions are especially suited for potential faculty who possess a doctorate in Educational Leadership/School Administration and licensure in the state of North Carolina as a Professional Educator (School Administration-Principal). School executive leadership experiences is strongly preferred. Excellence in teaching and learning conducted within a rigorous and stimulating environment is an important core value of the University of North Carolina at Pembroke. The Department has a strong commitment to graduate education and state and national standards of school executives.
