M.A. in Spanish required. Candidates should demonstrate native or near-native proficiency in Spanish and should have strong communication skills in English. They should have a minimum of three years of successful teaching experience, preferably at the college or university level, and must be able to interact effectively with a wide and culturally-diverse range of students and faculty.

Job Description

The University of North Carolina at Pembroke invites applications for a full-time Lecturer in Spanish to begin January 2018. This is a full-time, renewable lectureship with benefits. 4/4 load.

The successful candidate will be an excellent teacher who can teach all levels of Spanish language, including elementary, intermediate, and advanced language courses; the candidate could also teach Spanish grammar, composition, and conversation courses. Departmental service will be required.
